I can’t say enough about Mellon Creek Outfitters. Dan, Hagen and their team of guides are the absolute best. I did not hunt this time, but went along with Justin as his nurse. Dan hooked Justin up with a free hunt and I mean free, he paid for everything including his hunting license. They make you feel at home. It’s not a business atmosphere, it’s a big ole’ family who loves to hunt, fish, ride and they love to have a good time. You will be laughing the whole time at their shenanigans. They are serious about their hunts though and go to extreme lengths to put you on a deer. And the deer, oh my gosh we got to see some huge bucks! My trigger finger was itching and I didn’t even have a gun lol! The new lodge is absolutely amazing! Not that there was anything wrong with the old lodge (that’s what i stayed in when i went on my hunt). Plenty of space to nap in the new lodge between hunts 🤣. The outside area is just as nice with a huge fire pit to get around. And then there’s Dan….. this man is so interesting and very knowledgeable. He has stories that are just mind blowing and then his jokes lmbo! You will be literally holding your stomach from laughing so hard! If you haven’t hunted with them you are certainly missing out. There’s so much land and so much to see. Riding around one day in the side by side, a dang bobcat came out of no where and we about hit it. No time for a shot because he was skint back! We had an amazing time! Thank you all for all you do!

Three days of hunting, food, accommodations and amazing people! The work the guides put in to ensure a successful hunt reflects in the population of all the wildlife. I can’t wait for our next trip!
