South Texas Dove Hunting
Dove hunting season starts as summer winds down and a hint of fall arrives in South Texas, and the fun and excitement of it never disappoints! Hunting doves in South Texas is a great group activity, whether it be with family and friends or a corporate event. Mourning doves are the most common type to be found on the ranch, but White-winged doves can be seen and hunted during their specific dates as well.
Located just outside Refugio, northeast of Corpus Christi, the landscape here shifts from bayfront and prairieland to saltgrass marshes, crop fields, and thick brush, creating the perfect habitat for doves to thrive.
